The famous Basque restaurant of Bakersfield is as old as I am. More food than you can eat for not that much money. Moreover, food I haven't seen since the mid 70s. Not too much of this sort of thing survives anymore.

I ate much and annihilated the first witness after lunch. I don't know if it was the heat over 100 or the meal, but I felt a bit tired come the next witness at 3:15 PM. It was probably the meal. As you may know, I often work as a one man concrete crew.

After taking these pictures, I was inspired to do a comedy sketch on the Karl Gerber, Workplace Lawyer Show that at the time was broadcast on KABC AM 790 in Los Angeles. The show explained various facets of employment law through comedy which made it more enjoyable for the public to learn.
